I re-painted the house numbers on my curb this weekend. I decided to do something interesting and not paint them the normal black and white. Since I don’t have an HOA I can kind of get away with what I want (I think). There’s a lot worse stuff neighbors have done that isn’t a 15 inch piece of curb that will just fade anyway.
I say this because this is an intersting YouTube rabbit hole to go down if you have house numbers and are interested in doing something yourself. There are some people who can paint some really cool designs using stenciling. There was one dude who did an OKC Thunder logo next to his normal house number. That was pretty cool.
I ended up doing a rainbow background with while numbers. It looks pretty sweet.

I took the time to do a little bit of a catch up week in two ways this week. First, I went back to not going with a theme. I have a bunch of things lined up, but these were some things that either didn’t fit in a theme or would have been part of some recent themes I already did.
Second, since yesterday I’ve been doing #backtoschool weekend. I know kids are going back to school earlier and earlier, but this year its all over the place and my kids are going on Tuesday (virtually). I’m using it to take care of some cards with guys in NCAA uniforms which I couldn’t make a whole week of. That will run through tomorrow.

Well, I lost a little imagination for these this week. Not sure why. If you now TTMs you can probably get a lot of these without much prompting just based on some other’s recent returns and knowing who might be a good signer.
Other Notes
I might go postal soon. I didn’t get mail on Thursday, then Friday I got my neighbors mail and not mine, and then Saturday I got regular junk mail and no make-up mail. I’m guessing the ones I am missing are in a neighbors house who is never there and I won’t see those for a while. The upside is I did get the big makeup day this month for the missing mail the last day of last month.
All that said, I am still going up with the back log. That’s even with some extra posts over this weekend. I’m know at 243.
