The Story of the Autograph
Miles Sanders is a running back in the NFL. He started his professional career last year in 2019 with the Philadelphia Eagles.
Sanders is basically a Pennsylvania boy thus far. He was born and raised in Pittsburgh, went to college at Penn State, and now plays in Philadelphia. In high school he was Pennsylvania’s Mr Football. When he went to Penn State he started behind Saquon Barkely on the depth chart. In 2018 he was named the starter and ran for 1,274 yards with nine touchdowns rushing. The Eagles took him with the 53rd overall pick in the 2019 NFL Draft.
Last year he started 11 of 16 games and ran for 818 yards and caught 50 balls for an additional 509 yards with six total TDs. The 818 yards was the most yards by a rookie for the Eagles ever. He also had the most yards from scrimmage for a rookie with 1,327 and the most all-purpose yards by a rookie with 1,641.
Sanders is projected for a pretty good year in the Eagles backfield this season.

I didn’t really have much hope for this one coming back from Miles so it was a pleasant surprise when it came back. I just haven’t had as much luck with Sports Illustrated magazines in recent months. And now with most of those being for current players, it’s hard to see me sending much out going forward. But this is a great cover and Miles has a great signature.
