Review / Preview – Week of 5/16

TTM Review Preview

A little over a week ago I did a bad thing… at least for TTMs. I waited to long to get new stamps.

Oh man, that was the worst. I waited to long and then it took to long for them to get to me and I lost about a weeks worth of time for sending things out. Since I send a little everyday that felt a bit odd. I would think that would kill my return numbers for this week and probably more of next week, but stranger things have happened.

I got to go to a game last week though. On Friday night I spent some time up in the company suite at a thing for a guy we worked with who is getting deployed. It was nice with a little food and everything. It was Astros v. Nats and I’m not terribly interested in either team, plus it wasn’t really a great game with the Nats giving up five runs right off the bat.

The Caps were on the TVs in inside and there ended up being more people watching that than watching the game. In fact, we found out you can stay in the suites for up to an hour after the game. Well, the Caps game wasn’t over so we stuck around a little bit. I ended up leaving early when the TV went off all of the sudden. When they turned it back on they had given up a goal and I could hear the disappointment as I walked away.

That said, it was fun getting to hang out with people in person.

Hope you are doing well!

The Review

Here’s what happened on the blog last week:

With no themes again this week it’s really making me feel lazy. I feel like I’m only just keeping up with things and I’m on the edge of falling behind. Just so much going on right now outside of the blog.

The Preview

Here’s what I have coming up for this week:

  • Monday: A mouthful of a last name…
  • Tuesday: Fil it up…
  • Tuesday: Do you where Treanors?
  • Wednesday: 1 Dog…
  • Thursday: Steven is my name…
  • Friday: Meads to an end…
  • Saturday: Havin’ a Ray…
  • Sunday: Needs to open a pizza place…

Ugh, again no themes. See more on my guilt and laziness above.

Other Notes

I was pretty much right on track this week with 18 returns. That’s right where I expect to average about every week.

There were three pretty good stragglers with Steve Sax (661), Jake McGee (311), and Brad Komminsk (208). The funny thing is that Steve Sax was a failure because he charges, but I had received a more recent successful return from him last week, or recently anyway. I always find it funny that someone waits to return something after that long, but I do appreciate getting the cards back.

The new Recent TTM Success is updated.

Have a great week!
