The Story of the Autograph
Joe Sambito is a former left-handed pitcher in the major leagues. The one-time All-Star played during eleven seasons from 1976 to 1987. He played for the Houston Astros, New York Mets, and Boston Red Sox.

Joe has one of my favorite signatures (another favorite this week). I love both the “J” that sort of is a triangle/cross and then his “S” which is super top heavy. I’m having a hard time choosing the better signature between the 1977 Topps and the 1987 Donruss. It’s hard to not choose the older card with the Tequila Sunrise uniform though.
