The Story of the Autograph
Doug Rader is a former third baseman and manager int he big leagues. He played from 1967 to 1977 with the Houston Astros, San Diego Padres, and Toronto Blue Jays. He then managed the Texas Rangers, Chicago White Sox and California Angels between 1983 and 1991.

Doug has a nice signature but this is a great example of the facsimile signature and how much I had it getting in the way. I know he signed right over it so that’s not the signature’s fault, but I just wish it wasn’t there. If it wasn’t, then the 1975 Topps would definitely give the best shot to show it off.
