The Story of the Autograph
Joe Sambito is a former left-handed relief pitcher in the major leagues. The one-time All-Star played during eleven seasons from 1976 to 1987 for the Houston Astros, New York Mets, and Boston Red Sox.

Joe has such a consistently good signature and it pretty much always comes out great on a card. I don’t think I’ve ever really seen him switch up the type/size of marker that he uses, but I think that’s great because he uses a nice one. I think the interesting thing about nearly all of these cards is that they really come after his major league career was over (except for the ’87 Topps).
