The Story of the Autograph
Dave LaPoint is a former left-handed starting pitcher in the major leagues. His twelve year career spanned from 1980 to 1991. During that time he played with the Milwaukee Brewers, St. Louis Cardinals (twice), San Francisco Giants, Detroit Tigers, San Diego Padres, Chicago White Sox, Pittsburgh Pirates, New York Yankees and Philadelphia Phillies.

The Score on Dave LaPoint – 6.5
Dave’s “D” always looks sort of like an “L” to me. That’s especially the case considering it’s right next to the “L” in his last name. It almost appear monogram-ish if you take the ending scribble of his last name off. I always forget how many team Dave played for until I start looking at this cards. This is another eclectic return from him.
