The Story of the Autograph
Tom Griffin is a former right-handed pitcher who worked as both a starter and reliever during his 14-year career. He played from 1969 to 1982 with the Houston Astros, San Diego Padres, California Angels, San Francisco Giants and Pittsburgh Pirates.

The Score on Tom Griffin – 6.0
Tom does a pretty good job on your cards. He tends to sign in the same spot or thereabout on every card. That’s not necessarily a problem, but on some of these cards that means his facsimile signature gets in the way. The 1982 Fleer card is a little different than the others in that it looks like he lots the card in the loop for the “T” but it also looks like that could be the way that card is too and it didn’t take the ink well.
