The Story of the Autograph
Steve Shields is a former right-handed relief pitcher in the major leagues. He played from 1985 to 1989 with the Atlanta Braves, Kansas City Royals, Seattle Mariners, and Minnesota Twins.

The Score on Steve Shields – 6.5
Steve has a mid-sized, stacked signature. It came out the best on that 1988 Score card with that matching blue in the uniform. But I’m actually surprised how well it came out on the other cards too. Two of them have him in really dark jerseys and somehow the blue cut through that pretty well.
