Review / Preview – Week of 5/10

TTM Review Preview

This was an interesting weekend because I went to the first big get-together I’ve been to in over a year. I got my second vaccine yesterday so I’m on my way out of the woods, but not their yet.

A neighbor was holding a graduation party for their son. The front yard was great. There were lots of people spaced out talking. And they had a food truck which really made it easy not to have a long line around a table for food. For the most part people respected everyone else.

There were three things that made it tough. The backyard was a little more packed. So much so that I did my best to avoid it. The kids were also all over each other. It just came off as odd. And the last was that there was one person that tried to hug my wife. She was definitely not having it. None of it seemed too big a deal, but it’s just interesting now that things seem to be changing.

My youngest daughter actually watched the party as we went there and turned around and went home. I was actually proud of her for making her own decision.

Hope you have a great week! Stay safe!

The Review

Here’s what happened on the blog last week:

A little tiny bit of football peeked in there this week. It is always going to be baseball heavy around here though.

The Preview

Here’s what I have coming up for this week:

  • Monday: I’m not joking, and don’t call me…
  • Tuesday: O-O-O’Brien…
  • Tuesday: Flat Stanley…
  • Wednesday: The Funky Homo Sapien…
  • Thursday: Sid the Kid…
  • Friday: Coop…
  • Saturday: Clark Bar…
  • Sunday: Is that Wortham anything?

I seem to have put a lot generic terms up there so there are probably several guesses you could have in each. But if you know the TTM game and you think of the related name, you probably can guess the guy.

Other Notes

If I thought that the end of April was a dud, the start of May is even worse. I only had eight returns come back this week. I didn’t get any mail on Monday for I think the third week in a row. And I don’t mean, not getting TTM mail. No Informed Delivery said mail, but nothing showed up.  Then there were some just days without TTMs. It’s definitely disappointing.

Have a great week!
