The Story of the Autograph
Bobby Humphery is a former defensive back and wide receiver in the National Football League. He played from 1984 with the New York Jets and Los Angeles Rams. He also played in the WLAF and the CFL.
Humphery is a native of Texas and went to college at New Mexico State. The Jets selected him in the 9th round with the 247th overall pick of the 1983 NFL Draft. He came into the league as a wide receiver but really was more of a kick returner. After his first two seasons the Jets converted him into a defensive back and he kept up kick returning duties. He moved on to the Rams for his final year in the NFL in 1990.
After his time in the NFL he had a year without playing in 1991 and then moved on to stints in the WLAF and the CFL.
The Score on Bobby Humphery – 6.5
Bobby has a really strong signature on these. I love the way he crosses the “H” with the bottom of his “B”. The best of this bunch is the 1990 Fleer by far. The color of the card and the strength of the signature is just awesome. The 1990 Score cards is pretty much the exact opposite.
