It was nice to have an extra day off this week. I feel like I got a little done with the blog, though of course not as much as I would have liked.
I’m going into an odd week at work with an all-day training, then an all-day meeting, then travel. I’m sure it’s going to be a lot of things to work around. It will be nice to get back down to our other office and see some people I haven’t seen in months. Plus I’ll have a good friend I work with on this little road trip so that will be nice.

The #twofortuesday had a Florida theme, but I don’t really think I labelled them like that. I’ve been forgetting to put in the hashtag and the reason for the theme when I have it lately.
I think I missed all the Craig Counsell news by a day, but that just happened like that. I already had him planned to post. I haven’t put any thoughts about the Mets not getting him, but ultimately for managers I feel like I don’t know much. It’s not like there are concrete stats (other than wins) that really tell you anything. He’s a good manager, but I think in the end he wanted to be in a better part of the country for his family.

This week I’ll have a Buffalo theme for the #twofortuesday. Also, the week with have a theme because it’s all football. As I was prepping posts I noticed that seven of the eight posts for the week were football so I juggled around a few to bring another football in there to switch out for the baseball.
Other Notes
The pendulum swung back again this week. I only had nine returns come back this week and one of them was a failure. Part of those numbers are due to the holiday. But it’s not like it was gangbusters and Saturday made it a disappointment. It was a disappointment already. I’m hoping maybe that means for a bigger Monday or Tuesday.
The failure I got back was from Rick Wise. I could have sworn I put enough money in but he wrote on my letter that he charges $8. He sent back $10 in the envelope and I thought I put in at least $20, but he didn’t sign anything either. I think I’m going to get that one back out there this week. For stragglers I just had one. Grant Ledward return cards to be after 389 days.
