The Story of the Autograph
James Campen is a former center in the NFL. He played from 1986 to 1988 with the New Orleans Saints and from 1989 to 1993 with the Green Bay Packers.
Campen was born and raised in the Sacramento are of California. After some great high school leagues he went on to Sacramento City College and then Tulane. He wasn’t drafted and signed with the Saints. He didn’t really start there in his first two years and only got into three games each season. He moved on to the Packers and would end up being a starter in his second season there, 1990.
He’s been an offensive line coach in the NFL since 2004 with the Packers, Browns, Chargers, Texans and most recently the Panthers. He was part of the Packers coaching staff when they won Super Bowl XLV against the Steelers.
The Score on James Campen – 6.5
James has a nice signature, but one of these got a bit messed up. Unfortunately its the one that probably would have stood out the best if it wasn’t smudged. The blue marker sticks out pretty well on these images.
