The Story of the Autograph

Jeff Little is a former left-handed pitcher in the major leagues. He played in two seasons (1980 and 1982) for the St. Louis Cardinals and Minnesota Twins.

Little was born and raised in Ohio. He was drafted out of high school with a third round pick in the 1973 MLB Draft by the San Francisco Giants. It took him a bit of time to get to the majors and he wouldn’t get there with the Giants. They released him in 1980.

The Cardinals picked him up just five days after he was released. He played in just seven games with two starts that year and spent most of his time in the minors. After the season the Cardinals traded him to the Twins. It would take him some time to get back and he made his next appearances with the Twins in 1982. That year he made it into 33 games.

He was released again and picked up by the Pirates, but never made it back to the bigs.

The Score on Jeff Little – 6.0

Jeff used a ball point pen on this one and that’s never my favorite. But I will say that this might be the best version of a ball point pen signature for me. I think it helps that there’s a good spot to sign and he used it. Ball point can really just get overpowered by most images.

Thanks Mr. Little! I’m giving this return a 6.
