The Story of the Autograph
Doug Rader is a former third baseman and manager in the major leagues. He played from 1967 to 1977 with the Houston Astros, San Diego Padres, and Toronto Blue Jays. He managed from 1983 and 1991 for the Texas Rangers, Chicago White Sox and California Angels.

The Score on Doug Rader – 5.5
Doug hasn’t had a truly small signature over the years, but it’s not necessarily big either. What I’m noticing though is that the height of how he signs on these last three returns has gone down a bit. It’s as if the “I’m crushing you head” guy got to it. The best looking of the bunch has to be the 1990 Topps card because you can see it the best.
