The Story of the Autograph
Coby Fleener is a tight end in the National Football League, currently playing for the New Orleans Saints. He went to college at Stanford and was originally drafted by the Indianapolis Colts in the 2012 NFL Draft.
Coby started his career with his college teammate Andrew Luck in Indianapolis as both were drafted in 2012 out of Stanford. He started as a solid tight end but played behind Dwayne Allen in Indy. He’s had some pretty good moments and got better as he spent more time in the NFL.
In 2016 Coby signed with the Saints. He continues to improve as he’s getting more playing time. In the beginning of December Fleener suffered a concussion and was placed on IR. I don’t remember the IR rules, but I hope he can come back for the playoffs. New Orleans is having a great season and really could make some waves in the postseason.

Coby has a pretty good signature, I think my issue with it is the size. He really did a good job to fit it into the space where you could read it on the card though. The other option is to sign over the dark pants in the picture and you wouldn’t be able to read the signature as well. So while I appreciate what he is doing, I also like a big signature. I don’t mind the personalization, but I like it better when it’s similar to the signature.
Overall its a solid signature though. Thanks Mr. Fleener. I’m giving this return a 5.
