I don’t really have too much going on to update on. My oldest was in an original (student written, directed, etc.) scene at college. That was nice. It’s always nice to see them these days and I didn’t realize how much I would miss them around the house.
They are the more talkative kid in the family. But then again now that they are gone my youngest is opening up a bit more. Maybe they were overpowered by the oldest a bit over the years. They are both very different kids in a lot of ways.
Hope you are enjoying your weekend!
The Review
Here’s what happened on the blog last week:
- Monday: Jay Bell
- Tuesday: Doug Rader, Joe Sambito
- Wednesday: Cecil Cooper
- Thursday: Jim Breech
- Friday: Toby Harrah
- Saturday: George Medich
- Sunday: Mark Eichhorn
Last week there was an Astros theme to the #twofortuesday posts with some old cards from Doug Rader and Joe Sambito. Other than that it was clearing a lot of baseball out of the backlog.
The Preview
Here’s what I have coming up for this week:
- Monday: Bates Motel…
- Tuesday: When I’m tired I Yawney…
- Tuesday: B-Lock-ay…
- Wednesday: Every rose has it’s Thornton…
- Thursday: Foote in your mouth…
- Friday: Life’s a Mitchell…
- Saturday: Dave’s not here…
- Sunday: I have a Query…
I have a hockey theme to the #twofortuesday posts this week. Two hockey posts seemed like quite an occasion for me. But to add to that I also have three football posts. I have more sports than baseball this time around.
Other Notes
It was a comeback week for me for returns. I got back 20 returns with one of those being a failure. The failure was Joe Slusarski and there was a forwarding address on that so I’ve already sent it out to that address. Maybe that will become a success.
I did have a few stragglers: Pat Verbeek (848), Jarron Collins (645) and Kent Anderson (254). Then I had a return from Ed Kranepool. He kept two of my cards so I think I sent him the wrong amount.
The Recent TTM Success page is updated.
Have a great week!
