The last two weeks have been a good lesson in keeping the pipeline full. If you follow regularly you know that let my stamps run out and didn’t order the next fast enough. That and I didn’t pay attention to what I ordered and the shipping was longer than I thought to.
That ended up amount to almost a week of nothing going out each day. Once I got the stamps I spread out what I missed sending over about two days. That might make for a couple days of big returns that I hadn’t seen in a little while later on.
I’ve been expecting weekly returns of about 18-20 per week and had pretty much been right around that. Well, last week was just 12. This week I am happy to report that the returns seem to be back to normal. That probably makes sense if I think I missed a week of sending.
Hope you are in the midst of a nice long weekend!
The Review
Here’s what happened on the blog last week:
- Monday: Mark Rzepczynski
- Tuesday: Pete Filson, Matt Treanor
- Wednesday: Lance Johnson
- Thursday: Steve Kiefer
- Friday: Johnny Meads
- Saturday: Doug Rau
- Sunday: Rick Bosetti
No themes again this week. There were some really good ones this week though. I always love that Lance Johnson puts “1Dog” on the cards and Johnny Meads was great. The red marker with the little bit of red in the Houston Oilers uniforms was fabulous.
The Preview
Here’s what I have coming up for this week:
- Monday: A nice young Ladd…
- Tuesday: Holman, now hit it…
- Tuesday: Be there in a Jeffy…
- Wednesday: This or Thad?
- Thursday: Drop the Mike…
- Friday: Calhoun do you think you are?
- Saturday: I Shaw it happen…
- Sunday: Milt shift filter…
Some of these are pretty generic and some are probably really specific for those that TTM a lot. It can at least be a fun game for me to try to write this section. No themes next week.
Other Notes
As I talked about in the intro, I was pretty much back to normal this week. I had 19 returns and I think I’m out of the woods from the stamp ordering debacle.
I didn’t have any failures this week and really there was only one straggler. That was Kurt Miller who was out for almost a year at 329 days.
The new Recent TTM Success is updated.
Have a great week!
