The Story of the Autograph
Turk Wendell is a former pitcher in the major leagues. He worked almost exclusively as a relief pitcher during his 11-year career that he spent with the Chicago Cubs, New York Mets, Philadelphia Phillies, and Colorado Rockies from 1993 to 2004.
This is my second successful return from him. To find out more about him, and to see my first success, check out my post from June of 2019.
The Score on Turk Wendell – 6.5
Turk was a quirky guy when he played and he’s still quirky in his time after playing. Any return I’ve received has the sides of the cards colored with marker. While that might sound like a bad thing, I feel like it’s something that gives the return some character. As for his signature, it’s pretty darn fancy and it looks like he takes a lot of care with it.
Thanks Mr. Wendell! I’m giving this return a 6.5 overall.
