Review / Preview – Week of 8/7

TTM Review Preview

I’m back from a fun vacation to Montreal and Quebec! Both are really cool cities and I highly recommend it. Thankfully we saved some money by using hotel points I earned with all the recent work travel I had. In some ways as a Dad, saving money was just as fun as the trip.

And it was almost like I didn’t leave. My automatic posts worked and all I had to do was keep up with social media which I definitely had time for. It didn’t start out well though. I thought I had them all planned and I actually didn’t finish the process. But that only effected the first day.

Anyway, it was a great trip, posts kept rollin’ and I have a few more days of PTO!

Hope you are enjoying your weekend!

The Review

Here’s what happened on the blog last week:

  • Monday: Todd Dunwoody
  • Tuesday: Mervyn Fernandez, Craig Wolanin
  • Wednesday: Paul Ysebaert
  • Thursday: Cherokee Parks
  • Friday: Erik McMillan
  • Saturday: Jim Poole
  • Sunday: Jim Leyritz

No #twofortuesday theme this past week. I did have the most eclectic posts possible with at least one post from each sport. I could have done a hockey #twofortuesday or a #Jim one. Hockey would have been great because it worked out that Craig Wolanin in a Quebec Nordiques jersey happened on the same day I was on my way to Quebec.

The Preview

Here’s what I have coming up for this week:

  • Monday: Les is more…
  • Tuesday: Oliver me, why not take…
  • Tuesday: I Stan-icek…
  • Wednesday: Do I make you Langhorne-y…
  • Thursday: The Don…
  • Friday: Go Weston young man…
  • Saturday: All Henson on deck…
  • Sunday: Mr. Ed…

This week there’s no theme to the #twofortuesday. Just taking a stab at the oldest things in the backlog.

Other Notes

This was just an OK week of returns. I wasn’t here for it but I was following along via Informed Delivery. I had two days with nothing coming in and two other days with 5 and 6 returns coming in. Overall it was a 16 return week with no failures coming back.

As far as stragglers there were two. The oldest was from Norm MacIver at 545 days and the other was from Steve Trachsel at 333 days. The next oldest one after that was 26 days so it was a pretty big gap. I also got a nice paid return from Jesse Orosco.

The Recent TTM Success page is updated (actually was updated yesterday).

Have a great week!
