I’m working on a new idea for what I post every week. Since I have so many cards in backlog, I contemplating the idea of creating themed weeks. Themes could be a city, a team, a topic, etc.. As long as I can come up with a week’s worth of posts then I’ll put them together.
I had a lot of fun with the challenges that I did around music. What made those harder was that I couldn’t plan it. But with this I can take some time to plan so I can make sure all my posts are written and planned out. I’ll maybe use Twitter to ask for idea or topics, maybe a poll (a la P. K. Steinberg – @pksteinberg).
I’ll probably have to get it going a bit first to give people the idea of what I can do. I certainly won’t be able to do any old suggestion, but you never know with the backlog I have. I think the danger might be letting some things sit for too long while I do other themes. Then the idea of posting “recent” TTMs (which to be honest are months old with my backlog now) goes a little awry.
But hey, am I all about the TTMs or the Dad Jokes? Maybe I need to be honest with myself and just admit it’s the Dad Jokes.
Remember: if they don’t go out, they won’t come back. (It’s the lottery theory – you can’t win if you don’t play)

Other Notes
This was a much more normal week and the month of April closed out pretty well. There will be more on that this week when the monthly review comes out but it was definitely a good month and no where near what it looked like last year. I will say that I didn’t realize that I sent out so many Brewers cards
My backlog ticked up slightly to 142. I think that’s pretty much how I know what kind of pace I am on. If I can keep the backlog up then I know the week was good enough. I’m now almost through September as far as one a day posts.
