So after several weeks of work travel, and only being home like 23 of 28 days or something like that… I’m finally home.
It feels good to sleep in my own bed, watch my own TV, mess with my cards, and… oh yeah… and see my family. I think that’s all probably in the wrong order. But seriously it’s nice to be home. Now there’s just a lot of catching up to do with things to get done around the house and all that.
It’s also a show week for my kids. They are doing Dracula and it’s my oldest’s last performance in high school. I’m hoping they go out with a bang.
Hope you are enjoying your weekend!
The Review
Here’s what happened on the blog last week:
- Monday: Greg Litton
- Tuesday: Von Hayes, Kevin McReynolds
- Wednesday: Otis Sistrunk
- Thursday: Lance Painter
- Friday: Lenny Wilkens
- Saturday: Andy Russell
- Sunday: Dan Pastorini
This would have been a fully diverse week of posts, but I didn’t have any hockey on my radar for the week. Still, three sports is a good week for having some variety in the lineup.
The Preview
Here’s what I have coming up for this week:
- Monday: Ham on Brye…
- Tuesday: I heard the ghost say Buechele…
- Tuesday: Down the Bannister…
- Wednesday: I Darrin you…
- Thursday: Dave’s not here…
- Friday: Oh Danny boy…
- Saturday: Purple Haselman…
- Sunday: That’s a high Barr…
I found n opportunity for the #twofortuesday theme this week. It will be related to the Rangers, the Texas variety that is. Other than that it will be the oldest things I have that I have multiple returns in the backlog of.
Other Notes
I was out half the week so I had to catch up when I got home to get the full picture of the week. I got back eleven returns. That’s lower than what I want per week, but not as bad as some other recent weeks. There was only one true straggler and that was Rodney Holman who had a return out since July 2022 (268 days). Other than that, no paid returns or anything out there for too crazy of a time period.

Have a great week!
