Hopefully we can’t go wrong in a week with Christmas starting us off on a Monday! I’m trying to take Tuesday off from work too, so that might make it a good week as well.
The ‘rent (Parent for the uninitiated and I only have one so…) for the holiday weekend so me and my brother and my whole family with have some folks to hang out with. I’m sure we’ll be watching some football and all that. I haven’t watched many Bowl games just yet, but there’s a lot of NFL to watch today in particular. That’s always fun to watch together. The Giants play on Christmas day, but that is destined to be disappointing.
What’s your approach to Christmas? Are you gift givers very much these days? We try not to be but some folks in our family tend to lean that way. That certainly is a hard thing to change. Our approach these days is that kids get gifts and adults should really only get gifts if you find something worthwhile, meaningful, or funny. But generally adults don’t need gifts.
If I need a gift I will get it for myself. I don’t need to tell you exactly what I want and then wait for it. For instance, I just bought myself a few things and used this time of year as an excuse to spend my money… and wait for sales.
It’s also my birthday at the end of the week so I have that to look forward to and use as a buying excuse.

Other Notes
This was a much better week for returns, but I have stepped up what I am sending out recently to end the year and hopefully start off next year well. I think it’s still a little to early to say these are things I’m sending out more recently though.
This week I got back 22 returns with 20 of those being successes. The two failures were from Brian Turang and Brian Bellows. I think I just tried old addresses for both Brians and there really isn’t any new address to send them to. I got back a paid return from Danny Tartabull to close out the week and there were no stragglers this week.
