Review / Preview – Week of 1/31

TTM Review Preview

More snow this week. We are such as in between place for snow in Northern Virginia. We get a good amount of snow every once in a while. A good amount being a few inches. Every few years we might get a load, like over a foot, but I know there’s many of you out there that get a whole lot. So I do realize my complaints are very relative to me.

But the worst part about the half snow, half rain crap that we get is that even if you have to shovel it, it leaves ice underneath. I feel like I’m going to kill myself on it. We have a series of steps heading to our house that can get bad. Plus our driveway is a hill, I’ve definitely slid right down it before.

The other thing I had is that our front yard is the northern side of our house. That means I have to watch the neighbors across the street melt, while my yard stays have in the shade of the house and the snow never goes away. With this latest kind of dusting we got, their driveways and sidewalks didn’t accumulate but our did.

Anyway, no more complaining, on to positive stuff…

Stay safe and healthy out there!

The Review

Here’s what happened on the blog last week:

There’s wasn’t an overall theme for this week, but I did have a Cavaliers themed #twofortuesday set. I’m actually surprised in looking at this that I didn’t realize how much non-baseball showed up this week. Three basketball posts in two days plus a football posts is actually odd for the blog. Not that I don’t want them there, it’s just usually all baseball.

The Preview

Here’s what I have coming up for this week:

  • Monday: Indiana Jones’ Dad?
  • Tuesday: Dan the Man…
  • Tuesday: Stop Poquette-ing me…
  • Wednesday: I hate those Zuvellas at soccer games…
  • Thursday: Super Dave…
  • Friday: Loves churches for their Spiers…
  • Saturday: All quiet on the Wes-tern front…
  • Sunday: Are you gonna do that… Proly…

Not #twofortuesday theme this week. I am working on a theme for a week away maybe that should be fun.

Other Notes

I got another 32 returns this week. The close out of all the stuff I sent last year is going well, but it’s really starting to turn into a lot of things I sent this month. While I’m always getting a lot of baseball, the mix I’m getting back has been pretty fun. There’s old and new, there’s some other sports mixed in…, it definitely has added some variety.

I highlighted some paid returns last week and I got a few more this week from Jeff Reardon, Jose Lind and Vida Blue. There were two stragglers. One was from Brad Keller but maybe that’s not so much a straggler. The current players have a tendency to get through all their stuff at certain parts of the year. Still, it was out for 253 days. And then there was Greg Kragen that was out for 554 days and sent in 2020.

The new Recent TTM Success is updated. Couldn’t even fit everything from this week in the last 30 section this week.

Have a great week!
