Review / Preview – Week of 1/23

TTM Review Preview

So far, so good for January in a lot of ways. More on the cards standpoint later.

This weekend my oldest kiddo and their theater compatriots won their district theater competition and are going to regionals in the coming weeks. That’s back-to-back at that level. Hopefully they’ll fair better at regionals this year. Given they are a senior I’m realizing different things are making me a bit verklempt when it comes to seeing them do things these days.

Also, my Giants won a playoff game. They played amazing. But predictably, as good as they played in Minnesota they played just as bad in Philadelphia. Oh well, I’ll take a good turnaround season and just hope that we’re headed in the right direction at this point.

Hope you are enjoying your weekend!

The Review

Here’s what happened on the blog last week:

It turned out there was a good #twofortuesday theme opportunity in the back log that came up this week. It just happened to be Mets-related. No really, it just happened that way. I was also happy to get some posts out about purchases that I made around Christmas-time.

The Preview

Here’s what I have coming up for this week:

  • Monday: Birtsas and Ernie…
  • Tuesday: Hartly to Hartley…
  • Tuesday: To the window, to the Wallace…
  • Wednesday: And I Cochrane, I Cochrane so far away…
  • Thursday: The Bruce is loose…
  • Friday: Love his hair products…
  • Saturday: Step up to the Mike…
  • Sunday: Bowa Fett…

Still just working through the backlog. There doesn’t happen to be anything to make a theme out of this week either.

Other Notes

I got back 17 returns this week which is great considering we were short on mail day with the holiday. That is right on track for where I should be for a regular week these days. There were no failures this wee which makes it a good week to. I got back a paid return from Tim McCarver and I need to find out if I have a Cardinals card for him since this time I just had Phillies cards.

This was a light week for stragglers:

  • Michael Cuddyer – 517
  • Shawn Springs – 464
  • Trever Miller – 258
  • Mike Ramsey – 201

The Recent TTM Success page is updated.

Have a great week!
