Review / Preview – Week of 1/20

TTM Review Preview

This week was another good one. I got back eleven cards this week and I’m now at a backlog of 82 for my posts. One thing that we had to deal with recently in the mid-Atlantic is snow and rain. That’s something I dread when I know I’m getting things back.

I have my mailbox on my porch and my mail always gets wet. It isn’t because it’s exposed to the weather. Its because the folks delivering the mail always have it in their hands from the house prior when delivering. But the worst part about it this week was that Informed Delivery said I should get four things on Monday. They didn’t come until Tuesday which is when we had bad weather. So instead of two wet pieces of mail (for what was supposed to come that day), I had six.

The Review

Here’s what happened on the blog last week:

1994 Collector’s Choice Series one was a fun look back. The pictures were so impressive in those days. It’s really neat to look back at how Upper Deck completely changed the game for baseball cards. Even five years after their debut release they were doing good things.

The Preview

Here’s what’s on top for this week:

  • Monday: Stabbed in the eye…
  • Tuesday: Runnin’ Reb…
  • Wednesday: A story of grit and perseverance…
  • Thursday: A “one per” O
  • Friday: LA Ram O-Line…
  • Saturday: Arrrrgh…
  • Sunday: We’ll never be Royals…

Some of these are a bit general. But I’m not going to give it away! Go ahead and give some guesses if you want. I’ll give you the old hot or cold treatment.

Other Notes

I’ve been super heavy on baseball recently and I just broke out the football cards this week. There’s definitely a good chunk that I can get writing for that and weave them into the baseball that I already have prepared to go out. Hopefully I can find some quick returns in there.

Hope you have a great week!
