The Story of the Autograph
Larry Krystkowiak is a former power forward in the NBA. He played for the San Antonio Spurs, Milwaukee Bucks, Utah Jazz, Orlando Magic, Chicago Bulls and Los Angeles Lakers during a career that spanned from 1986 to 1997. He is currently the head coach of the Utah Utes in the Pac-12 Conference.
Krystkowiak was born and raised in Montana. He went on to star at the University of Montana from 1982 to 1986 and still holds school records there. He is the only person to be named Big Sky Conference MVP three times. In 1986 the Chicago Bulls selected them with the 28th overall pick in the second round of the NBA Draft. He was traded on Draft day to the Portland Trailblazers. Two days later he was traded to the San Antonio Spurs.
He played his first year with the Spurs only averaged about 15 minutes a game. The Spurs traded him early the next season to the Milwaukee Bucks. He’s probably best known as a Buck and this is where he got to spend a year as a starter in the 1988-89 season when he saw 77 starts. He never started any more than 16 in a season other than that.
After moving to different teams and even playing overseas, Krystkowiak got into coaching. He started at his alma mater and within the college ranks and moved up to become the Milwaukee Bucks head coach in 2007 and the USA U18 head coach in 2010. He’s been the coach at Utah since 2011 and received 2018 Pac-12 Coach of the Year honors.

Larry has a good signature but these cards just won’t let you see that. I did send a third card that I think might have looked the best, but he only signed two. Sometimes college coaches don’t sign at all, perhaps for fear of violations of some kind, not sure.
