The Story of the Autograph
Randall Hill is a former wide receiver in the NFL. He played from 1991 to 1997 with the Miami Dolphins (twice), Phoenix/Arizona Cardinals, and New Orleans Saints.
Hill is a native of the Miami, Florida area. In high school he played as a cornerback. He then went on to play at the University of Miami where he played wide receiver. He also returned kicks as a Hurricane. He was a member of their two National Championship squads in 1987 and 1989. The Dolphins then drafted him with the 23rd overall pick in the first round of the 1991 NFL Draft.
He didn’t start out his career well, missing four weeks with a contract dispute. He was almost immediately traded to the Cardinals after just one game in Maimi. His first season was not significantly productive. He put up the best numbers of his career in 1992. That year he had career highs in receptions (58) and yards (861) and making it into the end zone three times.
He would make it back to Miami for the 1995-’96 seasons and then go to New Orleans for 1997. He tried to continue with the Bears in 1988 but didn’t make the team. After his playing career he worked for a Sheriff’s Office and then as an agent for U.S. Customs. In 2015 he ran for office as a Democrat but lost in his bid to make it to the House of Representatives.

This was one that I didn’t necessarily think I was going to get back. I came across the address and remembered I had a few of his cards, but really didn’t have confidence in it coming back. I think he only signs one card and then it was up to him for which on to sign. This one is a good one, bu tI would have rathered he signed another collection-wise for me.
