The Story of the Autograph
Nick Kingham is a former major league pitcher and currently pitching in Korea. He played in the majors with the Pittsburgh Pirates and Toronto Blue Jays. In Korea he started with the SK Wyverns and currently plays for the Hanwha Eagles.
Kingham was born in Houston, Texas but went to high school in Las Vegas, Nevada. He was drafted out of high school by the Pirates in the fourth round of the 2010 MLB Draft. He made his major league debut on April 29, 2018. In his first season he started 15 of the 18 games he pitched and put up a 5-7 record with a 5.21 ERA.
In 2019 his performance dipped a lot and he was moved tot he bullpen in May, then was designated for assignment with 9.87 ERA. The Pirates traded him to the Blue Jays for cash. He would pitch in eleven games for the Jays, all in relief, and go 3-1 with a 3 ERA.
Instead of continuing in the majors Kingham moved on to Korea and played with the SK Wyverns and has since moved on to the Hanwha Eagles.

Nick has a lot of air in his signature. I can’t think of a better way to say that but that last name has a lot of space to it. While I hate that Topps has two cards for guys in this set, I do love the card that shows the “Rookie Debut” on it.
