The Story of the Autograph

Mike Pritchard is a former wide receiver in the NFL. He played from 1991 to 1999 with the Atlanta Falcons, Denver Broncos and Seattle Seahawks.

Pritchard was born at Shaw Air Force Base in South Carolina. He went to high school in Las Vegas and played mostly as an all-purpose running back. He was recruited to the University of Colorado and joined a class with others like Eric Bieniemy. He played so many positions in college. But in their best year, the Buffaloes won the National Championship in 1990.

The Falcons drafted him with their first round pick, the 13th overall, in the 1991 NFL Draft. He was the first of nine other Buffaloes selected that year. While he had some great years during his time in the NFL 1991 and 1992 with the Falcons were probably the best. In 1991 he caught 77 passes for 827 yards and five touchdowns. The next year he caught 74 passes with 736 yards and seven touchdowns.

He moved on to the Broncos via trade for the 1994 season. After two years in Denver he moved on to Seattle. He had some more pretty productive years there with another two years of 800+ and then 700+ yards. The 843 yards on 64 receptions was a career high.

This old falcons black jerseys are really tough to get a good signature over. It looks like Mike tried to do his best to get his signature over a part that would maybe show it best. But that’s why I like the 1993 Score card the best of this bunch. The card is nice and bright and there was a great place to sign.

Thanks Mr. Pritchard! I’m giving this return a 6.5.
