The Story of the Autograph
This is my second successful return from Mike Caldwell. For more about Mike, and to see the first return, check out my post from August 2018.
The Score on Mike Caldwell – 6.0
Mike has a nice and big signature and he fills up these cards for the most part. I think the downside to these was that the marker let him down a bit. The best example is probably the 1974 Topps card. You can see it faded a bit for his last name. The 1979 Topps cards is a little similar. Sometimes that’s due to signing really fast (which is just how we write our names really) and other times its the marker. Maybe this is a little of both but it just looks to me like the marker had done a lot of work already when he got to these.
