March 2018 TTM Report

I used to do posts that sum up my failures for a month, but instead I’m going to focus these little monthly posts on a little recap of the month. Of the 41 returns I got back this month, only 5 were failures. Four of the five were football failures. One of those was me trying to find a different address for Todd Marinovich and I think I am giving up on that for now. The one baseball failure was for Matt Reynolds and that I think was because he went from the Mets to the Nats shortly after I sent him the letter.

36 for the month was pretty good though. Within those 36 envelopes were 76 total cards. My longest return of the month was for Pete Carroll at 195 days but that was a sweet SI that he signed in green so I was pretty excited about that. It was a good month for Spring Training returns, but I also got back a few old baseball returns that I sent in the fall too so that was nice to see.

Hoping for a good April. The last week of March was a little slow though so I’m really hoping the Spring Training returns are still coming in. Just some longer stragglers I hope. If not, maybe some of the guys sign at the end of the season.
