The Story of the Autograph
John Stearns is a former catcher in the major leagues. The four-time All-Star started his career with the Phillies in 1974 and then played the rest of his career in New York with the Mets from 1975 to 1984.

The Score on John Stearns – 6.5
John has a very nice signature but I don’t think that this is the best return I’ve ever had from him. Most of that is really due to the cards he’s signing her. Some of them are pretty busy or dark and just don’t give him a good place to sign. Another issue is that 1979 Topps card bled and bubbled just a little bit. Still great to get returns back from a Mets favorite.
