The Story of the Autograph
Dave Beard is a former pitcher in the major leagues. The right-handed reliever played from 1980 to 1989, pitching in seven seasons over those years. He played with the Oakland Athletics, Seattle Mariners, Chicago Cubs, and Detroit Tigers.

The Score on Dave Beard – 6.0
Dave has a pretty standard signature. He has some nice capital letters and you can actually read his name. The 1982 Fleer and 1983 Donruss cards show it off really well, especially the 1983 Donruss card. That’s my favorite of this bunch. But the dark green jersey really gets in the way on the 1983 Fleer card.
