The Story of the Autograph
Butch Hobson is a former third baseman and manager in the major leagues. He played from 1975 to 1982 with the Boston Red Sox, California Angels and New York Yankees. He later managed the Red Sox from 1992 to 1994.
This is my second successful return from him. To find out more about him, and to see the first successful return, check out my post from September 2021.
The Score on Butch Hobson – 6.5
Butch has a signature with a lot of action in it. While that seems to have caused the marker to look a little light in places, I think this return is better than the first I got back from him because there were smudges on that return. Of these three I think I like the 1982 Fleer card the best.
