The Story of the Autograph
Scott Bailes is a former left-handed pitcher who worked as both a starter and a reliever during his time in the major leagues. He played from 1986 to 1998 with the Cleveland Indians, California Angels and Texas Rangers.

Scott has a great signature. I’ve always like that there’s some symmetry in the “S” and the “B” and he puts that little loop on the bottom of them. He’s always had a pretty large signature. What I find that tends to let him down are the cards. The 1987 Topps came out great but some of the others just don’t have a great natural spot for the signature.
