The Story of the Autograph
Chris Hammond is a former left-handed pitcher in the major leagues. He played for seven different teams from 1990 to 2006: Cincinnati Reds (twice), Florida Marlins (twice), Boston Red Sox, Atlanta Braves, New York Yankees, Oakland Athletics, San Diego Padres.

The Score on Chris Hammond – 7.5
Chris has always been a pretty reliable signer for me. I love the style of what he does. It’s mostly the capital letter and then it basically looks like an arrow or a javelin after that. It makes for a sort one-sided style of signature where its really vertical on one side and really horizontal on the other. I think the marker was good on this one but it sort of let him down on the 1991 Topps Stadium Club.
