More mail issues last week have left a few holes in what I expected to get. But that happened two weeks ago and it caused a nice little bump this week. On Monday I got what I was supposed to get on a big Saturday return. Plus I got a bit Monday return. So it ended up being a huge start to the week. It slowed down a bit at the end of the week and I’m still missing some mail again for the end of this week.
There were some pretty good successes in there. But one thing that happened last week was that I got a good chunk of returns with just one card. Some of those were because I just sent one card, but others were that I got only one of multiple signed. That’s fine with me because as Bobby Brown tells us its the signer’s prerogative to do what they want to do. I just find it funny that a high percentage came last week.
What also came last week was my 2000th successful return for my TTM career!

#windycity week was fun. I’m liking getting into these themes a lot. I think sometimes the random doesn’t let me think about the teams and cities as much as these themes do.
So far I’ve been doing this in the order I receive them to make sure that I get the oldest ones out of the way, but I think I need to try to mix them up a bit more. Like last week was White Sox, then a huge chunk of Cubs, then White Sox. A Cub sandwich if you will with White Sox bread.

OK so the theme is #charmcity and it should please Cliff (@oriolesrise). But these are not hard because I started to make and effort to include the last names. So maybe a positive… no surprises this week.
Other Notes
Nineteen returns this week was nuts. It’s probably even nuttier if I tell you that like eleven came in on Monday. My backlog is now at 205! When should I consider a backlog getting out of hand?
