This week my family tried to do a few things for some neighbors and my neighborhood. We have a street with a lot of older folks so it’s good to look out for them. We always do things like pick up their newspapers and stuff like that. With no snow (so far) in my area we thankfully haven’t had the back-breaking task of shoveling.
The company I work for is trying to encourage us to keep getting out and helping in our communities, while still being socially distanced and all that. We’ve tried to stay in the neighborhood to maybe keep closer to our quarantine I guess. So this week we took the kids out and delivered neighborhood newsletters and took the shifts of some other folks who haven’t been feeling well.
Think about making a goal to find something to do to help a neighbor or a friend and do something good for someone.
Stay safe and healthy!
The Review
Here’s what happened on the blog last week:
- Monday: Doug Widell
- Tuesday: Darren Holmes, Karl Mecklenburg
- Wednesday: Jayhawk Owens
- Thursday: Steve Reed, Don Sutton
- Friday: Troy Tulowitzki
- Saturday: Clint Barmes
- Sunday: David Treadwell
#rockymountainhigh week was fun and it certain felt colorful. It was a lot of old Broncos jerseys and the purple of the Rockies, the Colorado Rockies that is, not the mountains. There was one deviation with the passing of Don Sutton, although I was told that was not real. I still didn’t want to have it hanging around months from now.
The Preview
Here’s what I have coming up for this week:
- Monday: Iceman…
- Tuesday: Amazing Emu…
- Tuesday: Blue Moon…
- Wednesday: Bonham Bullet/Dr. Death…
- Thursday: Sweet Lou…
- Friday: Dirtbag…
- Saturday: The Mad Hungarian…
- Sunday: Toy Tiger…
I think some of those are pretty obvious, especially if you are a TTMer or you following people who TTM. I hope there are a few surprises to keep you engaged at least. This will be my last planned theme week for a bit. I’m going back to a random, post them as they came in order after this as I try to plan some new themes.
Other Notes
Another great week with 17 returns. That has me up to a backlog of 341. If I can get ahead enough with writing posts I might try to do a few weeks where I do two-per-day. But I have a feeling work is going to start getting in the way of that a bit. The returns keep coming in strong though and I’ve kind of gotten into a new pattern of how I send things out. I just tweaked my process a bit to account for successes I see coming in from you guys on social media.
Have a great week!
