The Story of the Autograph
Dick Drago is a former right-handed starting and relief pitcher in the major leagues. He played from 1969 to 1981 with the Kansas City Royals, Boston Red Sox, California Angels, Baltimore Orioles, Boston Red Sox, and Seattle Mariners.

Dick has a great signature with one of my favorite features… a repetitive letter! I think added on top of the fact that the “D” repeats is the fact that he doesn’t do it in the normal style of that letter. It almost looks backwards or as if it’s a “T”. I love the character that brings to the signature. My favorite of these is the 1989 Topps Senior League card, but I do love the T&M sports for the uniform and hat combo he’s wearing.
