The Story of the Autograph
Cecil Cooper is a former first baseman in the major leagues. He played for the Boston Red Sox and Milwaukee Brewers during a seventeen year career that spanned from 1971 to 1987.

These are the first cards of Cecil in a Red Sox unifrom that I’ve ever had him sign. I’m pretty sure I got these from a dime box at a card show and I’m glad I did because now I have him signing images of him in all his uniforms. I really like that 1976 card, not only for the design but maybe more for the sideburns. They should get a card themselves.
