The Story of the Autograph
Bill Campbell was a right-handed relief pitcher in the major leagues. The one-time All-Star and two-time Rolaids Relief Award winner played from 1973 to 1987 with the Minnesota Twins, Boston Red Sox, Chicago Cubs, Philadelphia Phillies, St. Louis Cardinals, Detroit Lions and Montreal Expos.
Mr. Campbell died from cancer on January 6, 2022. He had been in hospice care in the Chicago area.

Bill had always been such a great signer for the TTM community. This last return was received almost a year ago so I don’t know how long he had been in hospice care and if he has been very active in signing in more recent months. But anyone nice enough to put some ink on fans cards like he did is a good person and not someone we need to lose in the world. RIP Bill, and I our hearts go our to your family.
