Review / Preview – Week of 6/19

TTM Review Preview

If you’ve been following along recently you know that early last week my oldest was up for an award for their theater performance in Dracula. Well, things went well for the whole play.

The school had 13 nominations (a school record) and won awards for Hair & Makeup, Special Effects, Ensemble, Supporting Actor in a Female Role and… *drum roll*… PLAY! That means that my kiddo didn’t win for the award they were nominated for (Lead Actor in a Female Role) but it’s still exciting. They got to perform at the Kennedy Center and it was just a great night with all the kids and families.

Then later in the week (Friday) my band played at a local pool. It was our first gig in years and it was our first gig with our new bassist. Everything went great! We got a lot of compliments, worked in some new songs, and everyone seemed excited to hear us again.

Overall great week!

Happy Father’s Day!

Hope you are enjoying your weekend!

The Review

Here’s what happened on the blog last week:

Last week I thought that I didn’t have a theme to the #twofortuesday. But it turns out I did and it just happened, no planning. I just didn’t really recognize it until after the fact. It was a “Jim” theme with Jim Colborn and Jim Beattie.

The Preview

Here’s what I have coming up for this week:

  • Monday: Horses for Corzines…
  • Tuesday: Joe and the Volstad-cano…
  • Tuesday: Everybody must get Stoney…
  • Wednesday: Beard-ed lady…
  • Thursday: Um, I’ll leave this one alone… you’ll see…
  • Friday: Me so Horner…
  • Saturday: Sykes alive…
  • Sunday: Lee-way…

OK, for reals this time… no #twofortuesday theme.

Other Notes

This was an amazing week of returns. I got back 24 successes this week. That’s the most I’ve had in several months. Maybe since January. There were definitely a few new attempts in there like Bill Wilkinson, Jeff Sellers andTomas Vokoun. There was also a paid return from Jose Cruz. I wonder what having a good week will do for next week.

I did have two stragglers this week from Jeff Sellers at 534 days and Jon Lieber at 288 days. I also had three failures which I don’t think I’ve really experienced for a while. Louis Oliver, Mike Easler and Darrell Walker all were negatives. I think I found new addresses for all but Mike Easler.

The Recent TTM Success page is updated.

Have a great week!
