The Story of the Autograph
Randy Jones is a former left-handed starting pitcher in the major leagues. The Cy Young winner and two-time All-Star played from 1973 to 1983. During those ten seasons he played for the San Diego Padres and New York Mets.
This is my second successful return from him. to find out mroe about him, and to see the first successful return, check out my post from June 2021.

Randy has one of my favorite signatures. He fills up the card really well, there’s a lof of action and style in his signature, and he tends to use a strong marker in my experience. I think my favorite of these is the 1976 Topps card because I am partial to that design. I might at some point need to get Jim Palmer to sign the other half of that leaders card.
