The Story of the Autograph
Neil deGrasse Tyson is an astrophysicist, author and celebrity who is the Director of the Hayden Planetarium at the Rose Center for Earth and Space at the American Museum of Natural History in New York City. He’s been in that position since 1996.
Tyson was born in Manhattan, New York and raised in the Bronx. His interest in astronomy began after a visiting the Hayden Planetarium when he was nine. He then attended the Bronx High School of Science in the 70’s and then went on to attend Harvard, Texas, and earned his PhD at Columbia. He’s earned several science-related awards and honors and holds 20 honorary doctorates. In addition to being published in several research publications, he’s also authored or co-authored 16 books.
In more recent years he’s been in different TV series and documentary movies. He’s also appeared on shows like The Daily Show. But I think I find it funnier when he pops into shows like Gravity Falls, Martha Speaks, The Simpsons and things like that as I watch with my kids.

I know there are more of these type of cards out there especially in the Allen & Ginter sets. I mean there are at least ten cards in the Magnificent Moons insert set. But I had to pick doubles and then at that I had to pick cards that were going to show off the autograph the best. I think Neil has a nice signature and he used a pretty good marker so these came out really well.
