The Story of the Autograph
Mike Schad is a former offensive lineman in the National Football League. He played from 1986 to 1993 with the Los Angeles Rams and Philadelphia Eagles. He then played in the CFL with the Ottawa Rough Riders in 1995.
Schad was born and raised in Ontario, Canada. He attended college at Queen’s University in Canada where he won the J.P. Metras Trophy for being the top lineman in Canada’s college football league. He was then drafted in both the CFL and the NFL. He chose to play with the Rams who took him in the first round with the 23rd overall pick of the NFL Draft.
He didn’t play much in his two seasons with the Rams. In 1989 he moved to the Eagles and started every game that he played in through 1993. In 1995 he then returned to Canada and played one year with the Ottawa Rough Riders.
These days Schad is a mortgage banker in New Jersey.
The Score on Mike Schad – 6.5
The way Mike signed it gives me the feeling at first that he just doesn’t turn the cards when taking them out of the envelope. But I usually face my cards so that he would sign the other side if that was the case (or how I think of taking them out he would). So I actually wonder if he signs them like that to sign a little bigger and maybe where he things the signature fits best.
Thanks Mr. Schad! I’m giving this return a 6.5.
