The Story of the Autograph
Luis Castillo is a right-handed starting pitcher with the Cincinnati Reds. He’s been in the league since last year and both of his years in the major leagues have been with the Reds.
Castillo was originally signed by the San Francisco Giants as an international free agent in 2011. In 2014 he was traded to the Marlins who attempted to trade him to the Padres in 2015. However, if you remember this trade a pitcher Colin Rae was included from the Padres side and he was injured in his first start and Castillo was sent back to the Marlins because Rae was injured prior to the trade.
The Marlins traded Castillo to the Reds in January of 2017. He made his major league debut on June 23, 2017 against the Nationals. This year he’s been in the Cincinnati rotation. He’s not doing too bad this year considering that the Reds started the year terribly, but they’ve been coming on lately.

I feel like I’ve seen a lot better offerings from Luis lately. This one doesn’t seem as detailed, especially with a bigger pen. But then that pen doesn’t look very good either. It’s definitely running out. I’ll probably try Luis again next year when I have some more of his cards.
