The Story of the Autograph
LeRoy Irvin is a former cornerback in the NFL. He played from 1980 to 1990 with the Los Angeles Rams and Detroit Lions.
Irvin was born in New Jersey but attended high school in Georgia. He went to college at Kansas and played for the Jayhawks from 1976 through 1979. The Rams made him their made him their third round draft choice in 1980 with the 70th overall pick of the draft.
A four-time All-Pro and two-time Pro Bowler, Irvin definitely had some great season with the Rams. In 1985 and 1986 he had back to back years with six interceptions, career highs. He returned at least one interception for a touchdown from 1984 (when he did it twice) to 1987.
After his playing days he coached with Cal State Northridge and he went into business with some former teammates. He currently owns a Mortgage business but also was involved with businesses that help NFL Licenses.

LeRoy’s signature is pretty nice. He uses almost all the card and has a pretty good size to his autograph. I’m really glad I had those Rams cards of his because of how many years he spent there. But one of my favorite card designs ever is that 1982 Topps football design to I like that one the best.
