The Story of the Autograph
Johnny Meads is a former linebacker in the National Football League. He played from 1984 to 1992 primarily with the Houston Oilers but finished in Washington.
Meads is a native of Louisiana. He went to Nicholls State and was drafted twice. The Oilers drafted him in 1984 in the third round of the NFL Draft and then the New Orleans Breakers drafted him in the third round of the 1984 USFL Draft. He chose to play in the NFL.
He didn’t become a start until his second year when he started and played in five games. But he was then started and played in the majority of games for the Oilers from the 1986 season on. His best season was probably 1988 when he had a career high eight sacks. He ended up with 23.5 sacks for his career.

Johnny definitely made things interesting with the red marker. It really only works certain times, but on these… boy does it ever work. These came out so great. With those little red stripes in the Oilers uniform and then the bits of red on the card these just came out amazing. Oh yeah, he’s got a pretty stylish signature to boot.
