The Story of the Autograph
Johnny Holland played linebacker in the NFL for the Green Bay Packers. His career lasted seven years and he played from 1987 to 1993. After his playing days were over he went on to coach in both the NFL and the CFL and today he coaches the linebackers and is the run game specialist for the San Francisco 49ers.
Johnny grew up in Texas where he played several sports in high school. He went to Texas A&M where he lettered for four years and was a starter for three of those years. He was the career leader in tackles for the Aggies until Dat Nguyen broke his record in 1998. In 1987, the packers selected him in the second round of the draft.
Over his career he topped 100 tackles six times. He seemed to have a penchant for making turnovers happen with nine interceptions and 15 fumble recoveries. He was no longer a player when the packers made it to the Super Bowl in 1996, but he did earn a ring with them as a defensive quality control coach that year. He’s been dedicated to coaching since 1995.

On the plus side, Johnny has a nice and big signature. He’s got a little style to it, but the best part is that it fills up the card. However, the marker he used really just kills this one. It could be the cards, but given that it came out the same way on all three I would chalk it up to a marker that was dying.
